Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Living and working in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, The Bahamas

Design-oriented, Jacki Boss has an aptitude for experimenting with her art, which has led to an eclectic collection of works along her artistic journey.

The studious and industrious nature of the artist has made her prolific in both conventional painting styles and large-scale art projects. Always keen to learn and update technical aspects, archival methods have been a component of the artist's practice. She has embraced a diversity of mediums and enjoys sharing her fascination with the process.

Since relocating to a small island nation in the Caribbean, Jacki's work has morphed to include more easily accessible materials appropriate for outdoor applications. Consequently, her current artworks mainly focus on sculpting concrete and creating mosaics - hand-cutting tile and glass in the opus palladium style.

Art exhibitions and community projects involving adults and teenagers have contributed to Jacki's evolution into a public art forum. The Grand Bahama Port Authority is the artist's most prominent patron.
