JACKI BOSS
ARTIST
PROJECTS

Jacki organized artists and volunteers to band together, with mostly donated materials, to refurbish a 850 square foot loft area of a community hall offered as a working space for artists. The space was divided in half - one side for individual studio sections - the other as a communal area.

Through the artist's studios she co-founded, Jacki curated two art exhibitions. Both involved major installations, with challenges in construction of temporary wall space and lighting.

The Mosaic Floor-Scape Community Project was a truly unique experience and the first of its kind, on Grand Bahama Island. Other community projects are ongoing at various stages.

Public artworks are gradually being created and installed throughout Freeport on Grand Bahama Island. Initial recognition began with the Mosaic Floorscape Community Project. Other projects, in collaboration with the Grand Bahama Port Authority, are ongoing.
